The version 0.5 is stable, with no severe bug, but provides only simple accounting functions.
After initial setup, you can :
- Import accounting records
- Create and edit accounting records
- Perform reconciliation
- The general ledger, journal ledger, and trial balance can be printed or exported as aPDF.
- Import data from the internet and compare online bank statements
- Build customized balance sheets to be printed or exported as PDF files.
version 1.0
The version 1.0 is still being developed, so might contain bugs, and you should only be used with caution in a production environment.
Features of Gestinux 1.0 include :
- All 0.5 features, with many ergonomic improvements.
- Billing configuration (sales categories, tariffs, V.A.T, other taxes, payment methods, term of payment, product units)
- Locking for multi-user usage
- Ability to add track new customers, and add and edit product items.
- Create, edit, print and save invoices in PDF format.
- Enter customer payments againts issued invoices.
- Close a fiscal period, data for which can be stored indefinitely.
- Integrated translation module, with fall-back language. Ability to toggle from a reference language to another language for translation checking.
- Improved import module for all accounting and billing data.
